Firearm Donations Supporting Local Fundraisers
Fundraising raffles work when the prize is worth the ticket. One way We Buy Your Guns supports North Texas organizations is by donating firearms that qualified groups can offer as prizes through properly administered fundraising raffles.
Firearms provided for 2025 fundraising events
During 2025, our firearm donations for local fundraisers included:
- A Glock Gen 5 handgun
- A Radical Firearms AR-15
- A firearm donated to the Roanoke Police Department for an internal raffle
These contributions gave participating organizations prizes that could help generate interest, encourage participation and strengthen their fundraising efforts.
Supporting fundraisers at Northlake Shooting Sports
We have supported multiple fundraising events held at Northlake Shooting Sports in addition to sponsoring a youth clay shooting tournament there. The facility regularly hosts charity events, fundraisers, shooting teams, competitions and community gatherings that bring together local businesses, athletes, families, donors and volunteers. Our sponsorship of youth clay shooting programs in North Texas grew out of those same relationships.
Supporting local public safety professionals
We also donated a firearm to the Roanoke Police Department for an internal raffle. That contribution was one way for our company to recognize the work of local law-enforcement professionals and support an activity organized for members of the department. We appreciate the officers, staff members and public safety professionals who serve Roanoke and the surrounding communities.
Responsible and compliant transfers
We Buy Your Guns supports lawful, professionally administered fundraising activities. Firearms provided for raffles or community events must be transferred in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local requirements.
The organization administering each event is responsible for confirming its own eligibility to hold the raffle, establishing the raffle rules and coordinating any required transfer procedures, including the eligibility of the recipient and any background check obligations.
